The dominance of the concerns of the theoretical thinking of this end / beginning of the millennium is the problem of responsibility. So often invoked and increasingly valued by specialists in the most diverse fields: scientists, doctors, economists, lawyers, educators, businessmen, politicians and, of course, moralists and philosophers, however, in paradoxically, the idea of responsibility is not reflected with the same intensity in the modal-action plan. That responsibility must become “the cornerstone of the whole moral edifice”, as Kant appreciates, is an assertion that has yet to be proven in the social action plane.
A legitimate question remains open: if responsibility is so explicitly present in the theoretical consciousness of our time, then where are we still responsible; responsible, in a concrete way, acting distinctly in situations that require different solutions, assuming the duty to be Human, that is, a moral being, concerned with the destiny of man and humanity?
