This volume is intended to be an introduction to social knowledge from a transdisciplinary perspective. We will bring to the attention of the reader mainly a sociological and socio-juridical perspective, on phenomena such as: social institutions, socialization process, dynamic status-role, social groups and quality of life. The intention of this volume is a didactic one. Within the volume were synthesized a series of lectures in the field of general sociology, legal sociology, social philosophy, medical sociology, taught by the author of the volume within the “Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa ”From Iasi, as well as the University“ Mihail Kogalniceanu ”from Iasi. A series of results of the author’s social research, especially their theoretical part were also included, as well as the synthesis of significant results of the respective researches. These were included both as methodological examples and as empirical support for some theoretical paradigms presented in the volume. (The author)
