New Theoretical Approaches to International Security after the Cold War
Keywords:
security, theory, war, peace.Abstract
Starting from the definitions of the concept of security, peace and violence, I want to highlight the main metamorphoses of the international security system. The post-Cold War period (especially since the 21st century) is a transition from a geopolitical point of view. Power, be it tough, gentle or intelligent, has always been related to the ability to wage war. New approaches in the sphere of international security present a variety of types of war (conventional, irregular, economic, energetic, cybernetic). All this leads to the change of the main security paradigm.References
