From the beginning we must show the ontological distinction between the existence of God and the knowledge of God and, at the same time, the complementarity between the divine revelation and the living (Erlebnis) of God (as love, humility, mercy, prayer, ascetic, contemplation, ecstasy). Knowledge is one of the necessary dimensions of the human being, so we are both: subject and object of knowledge. God, however, can never be the object of knowing as a fundamental error, committed by the representatives of the discursive thinking, which has reduced it to the logical meaning of: idea, monade, first-motion, immovable, work in itself, principle, vital momentum, etc. Such philosophical thinking, tending to take everything in concept and argument, loses sight of what is deeply characteristic of Christianity: “What is and always remains the same – the living God”.
