The efficiency of social intervention is not reflected in the degree of normality of the client, but in the subjective satisfaction of life, seen as a subjective indicator of the quality of life. In this context, the only objection that can be raised is that the boundary between individuals, “optimized” in relation to their own aspirations, needs, possibilities and society is the barrier of social control. We respond to this objection that the courts of social control in postmodern society have diversified as lifestyles diversify, and that the mechanical solidarity specific to traditional society has been replaced by an organic one.
