Description:
This volume is the informational support for the Course: Appreciative Methods in Organizational Development held within the Master of Supervision and Social Planning, year I, second semester at Al. I Cuza Iasi. The volume “Affirmative – appreciative techniques in organizational development. A socio-pedagogy of success ”, published by Antonio Sandu, presents a model of organizational development from a unique perspective focused on success and appreciation of the positive, namely the model of appreciative inquiry as proposed by Cooperrider and Bushe. Integrating appreciative inquiry in a cultural context dominated by the transition from fasting to transmodernism, the author demonstrates its origin in client-centered psychotherapy, proposed by Carl Rogers, constructionist sociologies, especially those in Burr’s version, in the new psycho-religious currents inspired by New Age, and in neurolinguistic programming techniques as formulated by Bandler and Grinder. The way of approaching this issue offers a double perspective by referring both to the social field and to the historical and cultural field. (The author)
