“Why so many tears flow
From eyes blind to pain?
The pain of souls whose sweat
It turned into drops of blood…
… Droplets that slide easily on the white and bare walls of the body …
Why can’t we look at the light
As we praise the darkness?
Why don’t we free our souls
And do we keep it tied up with thousands and thousands of locks?
… Why can’t we be?
“Or don’t we want to?”
