Abstract

This study investigates how modern strategies, particularly the application of cooperative learning, influence children's motivation, communication skills, and self-esteem. The first part presents a theoretical overview of collaborative learning, drawing on models and theories from the literature. The second part outlines the research methodology, which involved 25 primary school pupils of similar ages. Pearson correlations and t-tests for both paired and independent samples were employed to analyse the results. The findings indicate that students who engaged in more cooperative learning activities exhibited higher levels of motivation, self-esteem, and more effective communication skills compared to those who participated solely in traditional face-to-face activities. Consequently, it is recommended that pupils be involved in as many cooperative activities as possible.
