Just because they are not part of any book series does not mean they are less valuable. It just means that they are special, so special that it is difficult to catalog, categorize and label them. Or they are in areas where valuable books rarely appear. Or they do not belong to the LUMEN publishing tradition, but the quality has determined their publication, as an opportunity granted to us readers to discover them. Them … the books. Them … the authors. Us … LUMEN, which we want you to never have an open spot in your bookcase. Nothing that matters, that is!
