PROF. PhD. ANTONIO SANDU – Full professor at the Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences of the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, doctoral coordinator at the Doctoral School of Sociology of the University of Oradea, coordinating researcher at LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences. His main areas of interest include ethics, bioethics, social work and social philosophy. The original contributions of the scientific activities of Prof. PhD. Antonio Sandu starts from the social construction of reality and social constructionism, seen from a semiological perspective. The author analyzes the social construction of reality, developing his own version of social constructionism, which operates at the intersection between the constructionist paradigm and the theory of communicative action. He is the author of the book: Social Construction of Reality as Communicative Action, published by Cambridge Scholar Publishing (2016), as well as “Social Welfare Practices: Research Techniques and Intervention Models: From Problem Solving to Appreciative Inquiry”, “Appreciative Ethics: A constructionist version of ethics” and “Social-constructionist epistemology: A transmodern overview”, all three published by Lap Lambert between 2012 and 2013. He also wrote more than 20 volumes in Romanian and English in the fields of philosophy , sociology, legal sociology, ethics, bioethics.

BOOK SERIES COORDINATOR – PROF. PhD. SORIN TUDOR MAXIM -Full professor at Stefan cel Mare University in Suceava, Romania, where he teaches Moral Philosophy, Deontology of the profession of social worker, Political Sciences, Introduction to European studies. Sorin Tudor Maxim is a member of the Research Center for Youth Issues (CCPT), and its vice president and scientific secretary until 1989 of Suceava Branch, founding member of the International Scientific and Cultural Foundation “Ştefan Lupaşcu”, member of the Franco-Romanian Institute “Liviu Rebreanu”, Lyon, France, member of the Franco-Romanian Cultural Society “Nicolae Titulescu”, Lyon, France, since 1992, member of the Romanian Society of Philosophy since 2008, vice president and founding member of the Romanian Society of Philosophy, Engineering and Technoethics (SRFIT) since 2009. Among the research interests of the author are: consciousness and moral responsibility, logic, argumentation theory, political science, philosophy of science, the phenomenon of globalization.
BOOK SERIES EDITOR IN THE FIELD OF PHILOSOPHY – ASSOC. LECT. PhD. ANA FRUNZA -Ana Frunză obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy from Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi, Romania in 2014, with the thesis “Towards a new ethical expertise. Deconstructing ethical values”. She is rank III Scientific Researcher at LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences from Iaşi, Romania. Her main areas of interest are applied ethics, applied philosophy, social work, supervision of social services, ethics of scientific research, bioethics and ethical expertise. As a Fellowship Researcher in an Advanced Program in Research Ethics, conducted by the Union Graduate College Center for Bioethics and Clinical Leadership (Schenectady, New York) in partnership with the Department of Medical History and Ethics of Vilnius University, she graduated courses of “International Bioethics”, “International Research Ethics”, “Research Ethics” (2016). A significant part of her scientific research revolves around the construction of frameworks for the development of ethical expertise in the field of social services, seeking through a methodology based on deconstructivism, originated in Derridian philosophy, the development of a new model of ethical expertise – ethical supervision. The research undertaken so far is based, in addition to reflection on ethical expertise in the field of social services practice, on the attempt to identify the constitutive ethical values of social practice, and on the promotion of ethical expertise through various application models. In the field of research ethics, her scientific efforts have corroborated the activities carried out during the Advanced Research Ethics Program, followed in 2014-2015, supported by Fogarty International Center, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institute on Drug Abuse, USA. In this program she carried out the research project “Informed Consent between Theory and Practice in North – Eastern Region of Romania Medical Research Field”, within the LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences, Iasi, Romania. She is an associate lecturer at the “Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences, Romania.
BOOK SERIES EDITOR IN THE FIELD OF PHILOLOGY – ASSOC. ASSIST. PhD. ANA CRACIUNESCU -She is an associated assistant professor within Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Faculty of Letters and Communication Sciences, a double bachelor, in communication and public relations, as well as in letters, English-French specialization, holds two master’s degrees in the fields of Management of trade, tourism and services companies, as well as British Culture and Civilization in the Context of Globalization, and since 2016 he has a PhD in philology – magna cum laudae, with a thesis entitled Semi-discursive strategies in tourism advertising. Her research interests focus on the social-semiological perspective of the discourse in the globalized and virtualized society, the discursive aspects in the field of advertising in tourism, the discursive dimensions of urban identity.

Research in child protection institutions in the N-E region of Romania ”, under the leadership of Prof. PhD. Antonio Sandu. She obtained a master’s degree in Supervision and Social Planning (2010) within Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi. She has a degree in Law (2014), awarded by “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava. She has a degree in Social Work (2008), awarded by Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi. She has several diplomas in the fields of Trainer, Project Manager, Assistant in Public Relations and Communication, Evaluator of Providers and Training Programs and Certified Training Manager C.N.F.P.A. She is also a researcher at the LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences, Iasi, Romania and an associate researcher at the Laboratory of Family and Marital Couple Sociology at the Institute of Sociology of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania. Alexandra Huidu holds a law degree from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi, holds a master’s degree in Criminal Sciences, obtained at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi and worked for 12 years as a lawyer within Iasi Bar, Romania. She is a member of the Romanian Association of Bioethics and the International Association of Bioethics – IAB (the world association in the field). Her main areas of interest are medically assisted human reproduction, the status of the human embryo, stem cell research, genetic engineering, research ethics on human subjects, which she approaches from an interdisciplinary perspective: legal, sociological and bioethical. She is the author of the book “Medically Assisted Human Reproduction. The ethics of incrimination versus biological ethics. Comparative law study ”(Lumen Scientific Publishing House, Iaşi, Romania, 2009, second edition revised and added in 2017) and of several studies and articles in the fields mentioned above.

She is a leading social worker with a degree in social work since 2000 at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University from Iaşi, Faculty of Orthodox Theology“ Dumitru Stăniloaie ”Iaşi – Social Work Department. Graduate of the master courses in the field of “Social Management and Community Development” of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences. She has a PhD in sociology since 2010 awarded by “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences. Postdoctoral student of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Gr. T. Popa ” Iaşi within the POSDRU project “Postdoctoral Studies in the field of Health Policy Ethics ”. She has a professional experience as a social worker for 15 years, in the field of child protection, working in the non-governmental and governmental system. Since 2010 she has been an associate professor at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Ahe has participated in national and international conferences, publishing articles and co-authoring various collective volumes. Since 2009 and until now she coordinates the “Prichindel” Day Center within the Iaşi Community Assistance Directorate. ROXANA STRATULAT –Editor responsible for the layout of the volumes published by LUMEN Scientific Publishing House , technical support in making corrections, cover design and additional graphic materials, intended to promote Lumen events. She has a degree in social work, is the beneficiary of an ERASMUS scholarship in the field of social pedagogy and holds the qualification “practitioner” in the field of neuro-linguistic programming.
PATRICIA GRAUR –She holds a bechelor degree awarded by George Enescu University of Arts from Iasi, specializing in Product Design, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field. She is the beneficiary of the ERASMUS program, within this program she studied at the Escola d’Art i Superior de les Illes Balears, Spain.
IULIA MEDVESCHI – She is an associate university assistant at the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, “Babeş-Bolyai” University, Cluj-Napoca. Her teaching-research interests are in the fields of Political Communication Ethics, Personal Development and Personal Branding. She holds a master’s degree in political communication and is a PhD student in political science at the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, “Babeş-Bolyai” University, Cluj-Napoca.
