The investigations of the judicial ballistics were restricted only to the weapons used: the commission of crimes, respectively light weapons or handcrafted weapons. At present, due to the diversification of infantry, defense, or weapons used by commando groups, but also by terrorist formations, forensic research is diversified by force of circumstances. Technically, the judicial ballistic investigation is carried out on the basis of principles, general rules regarding forensic identification, as well as by using methods and procedures common to those of other branches of the forensic technique, comparison microscopy, photography in invisible radiation, spectral analysis etc. (The author)
