Description:
This paper deals with the elementary and at the same time complex theme of the International Contract for the Sale – Purchase of Goods. Regarding the elementarity, this is explained by the role that the contract has in the commercial activity. Whatever the object traded, at the base of the trade relationship is certainly a private convention, constituted according to certain principles and which regulates both its legal and economic aspects. In other words, the contract establishes the particular obligations of each economic agent involved, mentioning at the same time the sphere of responsibility for their non-fulfillment. It follows that it is not possible to speak of trade without a contract or of a contract without qualified persons to ensure its conclusion and proper execution. In the given conditions, based on this reasoning, we considered that mastering the concept and content of the contract both as a legal act and as an economic reality is not only an asset, but a requirement for the professional integration of a graduate of economic studies, thus motivating choosing the announced theme.
