Description:

This work is a pioneering one. If in Catholicism and Protestantism, spiritual autobiography is often encountered, the same is not true in the Orthodox space. That is why it is the merit of Father Maxim that he leaned on this spiritual genre. We are glad to see that this research is a work in progress. The 1188 quotations of great extension and from important authors reinforce this statement. After the author reviews the autobiographical features of the three authors, he investigates the spiritual content of the works.
