Description:
In order for a child to be adopted, it must have a clarified legal status in order to then look for the right family from a behavioral, psychological, social and cultural point of view, which can correspond to the child’s needs. Adoption is the protective measure by which filiation and parental ties can be created between the child and a person or couple other than the parents of origin. The basic and fundamental means of ensuring the protection of the child is to keep him in the biological family, as long as it corresponds to his interest. When it turns out that an optimal development of the child in his family is impossible, it is good that he is placed in the environment that is closest to the biological family in terms of his ethnicity, tradition and cultural patterns.
