Description:
This work represents a significant page in the history of our tried people, who were born Christians, lived Christian lives and endured with serenity and dignity, all the harsh trials of destiny. During World War II, an atheist state at the head of the largest army – illo tempore – held all countries under military occupation, from the Pacific Ocean to beyond Berlin, to the French border. Among the first measures taken by this great political power was to ban religious freedom, in order to abolish the national identity of the respective countries. To this end, a case of the Soviet Power was issued in all these countries, with the precise order to confiscate ecclesiastical property of any kind, and the religious places to be demolished, or transformed and used for completely different purposes (stables, circuses, warehouses, etc.).
