Alina Barbu, a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bucharest, is a doctoral lecturer at the Naval Academy in Constanţa. We notice the seriousness of the study, the rich information and the analytical finesse. The approach is made from the perspective of literary history and we are dealing with a balanced presentation of the opinions of previous commentators, of obvious reputation, and of their own.
