Through this paper we will try to identify what is false and what is true in the current trends of the foreign policy relations of the two states. We will insist on new concepts of the Russian-American partnership, we will identify newer and older geopolitical interests, but especially we will try to find the true value of Russian multilateralism, declared in almost all important official documents and American unilateralism, propagated through concrete actions , given that neither of the two actors, whose foreign policy we have debated, manages to find a balance point that will fully satisfy them, even if efforts are made and countless resources are used to to reach. The aim of the paper, its culmination, is to identify the moment when Russian multilateralism turns into unilateralist actions, and American foreign policy is consumed in its unilateral actions, which it adopted after an attack that practically shook the foundations of American society.
