Description:
Man was created as a social being and must constantly relate to the social environment in which he must carry out his daily activities, he must adapt his actions, his (social) behaviors to those considered normal, at a given time and to a certain type of society. Without them, chaos and decay would set in. For a society to be functional, it must be able to ensure a balance between the needs and capabilities of its members, on the one hand, and the requirements of the social environment, on the other. Social work is the activity (social action) that seeks to help dysfunctional social systems or subsystems (whether individuals, groups, communities) to respond adequately to social needs and eliminate the difficulties that arise in their relationship with the environment.
