Description:
DEX defines philosophy as the science that reflects reality in its most general aspects. We argue the opposite: philosophy is the only possibility we still have to reflect precisely the particular, the imperceptible for generalizing thought, like the social sciences and theories, concerned with legitimacy. Philosophy has survived the centuries-old domination of positivist-mathematized thinking of the sciences precisely because it alone has been able to reflect, without falsifying it, the most indefinable particular: the person. This is the true acquis of Cartesian modernity, to the exploration of which this paper is only an invitation. (The Author)
