The main purpose of this paper is to present the symbolism of the tree, from the perspective of the great Swiss psychologist and psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung, one of the most important personalities of the twentieth century, while analyzing the significance of the tree from a mythological point of view. The idea behind the motivation that led me to choose this theme was based on the information obtained from the literature, mythology, the symbolism of the tree, as well as the many elements gathered from Jung’s work.
