Description:

First of all, this work was motivated by scientifically disciplined curiosity. The agricultural associations, although they covered an important part of the Romanian agriculture of the last 13 years, remained under-researched socio-economic phenomena. The motivation of this state of the social sciences discourse about the rural reality in post-1990 Romania could be an interesting subject of study itself. The associations appear, as if against the preferences of the authors, however, in some studies regarding the socio-economic evolutions of the Romanian village. In addition, associations tend to contradict theses that saw the death of collectivism at the end of communism and, in any case, the death of any form of cooperative organization. (The author)
