Description:
The decision and the decision-making process, generally speaking, as well as in the field of public policies, requires an approach from the perspective of sociology, psychology or social psychology. Man is a product of society and society, and his knowledge is made in relation to them. It is that political zoo that Aristotle was talking about. Since we can consider that the decision is an individual specific approach, its analysis from the perspective of the phenomena specific to the social actor completes the image on the analytical-cognitive approach. We must identify those traits of the individual that influence the decision and the decision-making process. Within the present work, we will operationalize the analytical approach on two dimensions, calling for an analysis of the psycho-social elements, where we will frame the personality and individual motivations of the decision makers, and from the perspective of the social-political elements, where we will frame the values and ideologies of the actors.
