Description:

Leadership style is one of the factors that essentially conditions the activities, processes and psychosocial phenomena within the organization by synthetically expressing the relatively stable and specific way of a leader to exercise his duties. In any human group, the leader has the maximum ability to influence everyone’s emotions. Each of the four areas of emotional intelligence – self-knowledge, self-control, social awareness and relationship management – contributes to resonant leadership with an essential set of skills. In the stress equation, the social position of an individual within the community influences the resistance, respectively the vulnerability to stress. The study aimed to demonstrate the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership, establishing the associative relationships between emotional intelligence and leadership style (defined through the two variables: task orientation and / or human relationships) and the relationship between emotional intelligence and modalities. coping adopted; revealing the coping modalities specific to each leadership style and describing an average profile corresponding to these styles.
