Migration represents the social process that has an increasing influence in the current Romanian society, although the Romanian migration in the world is a young one. The paradox is given by the growing interest in international migration although the accuracy of the term is declining. International migration is a highly developed phenomenon in terms of market globalization. Being selective and dynamic migration requires a differentiated and complex approach. Migration is a fundamental problem in the current Romanian society where according to the interview given by Dumitru Sandu for Evenimentul Zilei (romaniantribune.net) about 35% of the Romanian families have at least one person who was, or is, abroad. Therefore, we have a segment of over one third of the total number of households in our country who have experience abroad. (The author)
