The study is a correlational one, focused on quantitative and quantitative analysis, and tries to establish a relationship between personality type and professional satisfaction in the analyzed subjects. Its purpose can be detailed on two different levels – that of investigating overall satisfaction and that of assessing certain dimensions of manager satisfaction in a private enterprise. In this sense, the theories of satisfaction and personality are analyzed and described, as well as the existing psychological types. The research is anchored in the literature that evaluates professional satisfaction, through a careful definition and conceptualization of it, followed by a careful operationalization that allows the application of tests (described in the methodological section and in the annexes of this paper).
