Religious education is the oldest method of social formation of man, religion having an essential role in the development of human culture and civilization. We can say that most of the ancient civilizations have survived, almost exclusively, due to religious education and religion, well organized and with a recognized social status – to mention only the achievements of ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, Mesopotamian civilizations, which have survived due to the good organization of the religious education. From these considerations, we appreciated that it is appropriate to investigate the possibility of achieving an inter-religious or trans-religious education within the education system, as well as the macro and micro structural impact by implementing an innovative vision regarding religious education.
