Description:

The needs of victims of human trafficking in relation to the services provided by the multidisciplinary team, in order to socio-professional reintegration of victims. The importance of this paper is related to the topicality of the human trafficking phenomenon, which, referring to Romania, was accentuated at the beginning of the 90s and is increasing, after Romania’s accession to the EU. (US State Department Report, 2007)

I decided to study the phenomenon of human trafficking in Romania because, according to the Annual Report of the United States Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2007), it is emphasized that Romania is a source, origin and transit country for men, women or children in Moldova, Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which are trafficked to Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Greece for sexual and labor exploitation. (US State Department Report, 2007)
